Zarina has over 17 years of continuous practice including 12 years as a solicitor. She was a Partner and owner of a Solicitors firm, as well as a BSB authorised law firm, for over 14 years. She has represented on cases both as a Solicitor and as a Barrister and fully understands the needs and requirements of clients and solicitors. She specialises in Family Law, divorce and financial relief (including division of assets). She regularly represents clients in financial remedies proceedings involving property, TOLATA/cohabitation claims, prenuptial agreements, separation agreements, and periodical payments.
Zarina also provides specialist, advisory, and drafting services in relation to non-contentious property (including commercial Landlord & Tenant).

RECENT CASES
- Family law– Zarina successfully represented a client and negotiated a high value divorce settlement on behalf of the wife. She dealt with the proceedings from the initial application to the dispute resolution hearing and including the final drafting of the settlement. The result was that the client retained over 60% of the assets
- Family Law – Zarina was instructed to take over a divorce case from previous lawyers on behalf of the Applicant wife. The previous solicitors had advised the wife to accept a low offer to settle. However, Zarina represented the client all the way to trial and succeeded in obtaining over £200k. An award 3-4 times higher than the original offer.
